About Our President
Michael E. Jacobs, the Founder of Meridian Power Group, serves as the President and CEO. An astute self-starter and unquestionable IT expert, his dynamic technical skills and expertise have resulted in a successful 30-year career with top agencies where he has garnered opportunities to showcase his outstanding analytical and problem-solving acuity. Prior to the formation of MPG 25 years ago, he created Michael J. Consulting Inc., a successful computer staffing and software consulting firm; rendering his consultative leadership to corporations such as Harley Davidson, Motorola, and American Software.
Mr. Jacobs has expert-level proficiency serving as a computer programmer, analyst and consultant with AS400/iSeries and Mainframe platforms as a COBOL and RPG400 Programmer. His formal training in the computer field commenced with his honorable service in the Armed Forces while stationed in Europe. Following, he received his formal education at both PSI Institute of Learning and Temple University, earning certification and a degree in Computer Programming. He continues to leverage his business acumen as an IBM Premier Partner Representative. With his “determined to succeed” attitude, Mr. Jacobs continues to grow Meridian Power Group through shrewd business practices as well as by maintaining adequate communications with current and prospective partners.
